Victory of people of Karnataka, happy we fought and won with love: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi thanked the people of Karnataka for voting their party to power.

Reacting to the party’s victory in the state, Rahul said that he did not fight a divisive battle. “The Congress fought on the issues troubling the poor,” he said and added that the strength of crony-capitalism was defeated by the power of the poor.

Addressing a press conference, Gandhi said that the shops of hatred have closed down and those of love have opened in Karnataka. This is a victory of the people of Karnataka, he said.

Rahul said that hate lost to love and this will happen in all other states.
