Ministers, leaders seek apology from Pawan to Volunteers

Vijayawada: YSRC ministers, legislators and leaders continued to target Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan and TD president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday for the “baseless” allegations they made against volunteers and about data “leaks”.

Education minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that there was no need for the government to keep people's data in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan spoke foolishly about the Volunteer system and data breaches. Pawan Kalyan and Naidu conspired against the Volunteer system hence started a poisonous propaganda against the volunteers rendering best services with a human touch, he said.

Satyanarayana said several allegations had come up against the TSPSC regarding the conduct of exams and a high-level committee found malpractices had happened. The police arrested several people in this connection, he said.

Disagreeing with media comparisons of Telangana state and AP in education, he said the education systems of the two Telugu states were different and the AP’s system has been an inspiration to other states. However, Telangana state is unable to conduct TPSC exams and do even teacher transfers, he said.

Addressing the media, YSRC MP Margani Bharat said the Volunteer system in the state was fully transparent but the evil quartet including Pawan Kalyan conspired to destroy this system. He asked Pawan Kalyan to clear his stand on why he wants the corrupt Janmabhoomi Committees of the Naidu term to be restored, as it was “full of corruption.”

“Everyone understands how arrogant Naidu’s adopted son Pawan Kalyan is when he compares volunteers with drug bottle rates. “It is as if Pawan Kalyan is campaigning against the state’s 51 lakh farmers taking the Rythu Bharosa scheme.”

Bharat stated, “Pawan Kalyan, who called Volunteers brokers and criminals, is afraid of the backlash from Volunteers. Hence he is changing his tune and stating Volunteers are like brothers to him.”

Transport minister Pinepe Viswaroop said, “Out of 2.5 lakh Volunteers across the state, 1.80 lakh are women. Among them are BCs, SCs, STs and Minorities. Pawan is insulting these people.”

In another press meet, AP state Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation chairman Adapa Seshu lashed out at Pawan Kalyan saying he was giving a boost to Naidu. “Pawan's desire is to make Naidu chief minister.” He recalled that it was the Telugu Desam that insulted Pawan Kalyan’s family the most but the package makes him forget all those words and insults from Naidu and Paritala Ravi.

He said Pawan Kalyan has no history of respecting women hence he should first learn to respect women by following Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
