Poll panel to start working on special summary revision 2024 from Jan. 1

Hyderabad: As part of the special summary revision 2024, the Hyderabad district election authority has decided to take new enrollments and accept claims and objections from people living in the 15 Assembly constituencies of Hyderabad district. The process will start on January 1.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner Ronald Rose met political party representatives on Wednesday and sought their cooperation in this exercise.

“In their bid to prepare a voter list with no errors, electoral registration officers (EROs) will start pre-revision works,” the commissioner said.

The district election authority will also take up works to ensure that the photo of the person in the Electors Photo Identification Card (EPIC) is clear. Steps will also be taken to ensure polling stations are allotted as per their house numbers, said a GHMC press release.
