Karimnagar: In a sensational ‘revelation’ BJP national general secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was hatching a conspiracy to dethrone the Congress government in the state.
“There are many Rao men in the Congress. In the Assembly elections, he gave huge amounts to Congress candidates. Anything can happen after the Lok Sabha elections,” Sanjay claimed.
He was speaking to media persons while welcoming several BRS and Congress leaders from Manakondur mandal into the BJP here on Sunday.
On the comments of former minister K.T. Rama Rao that the BRS would have formed government had they supplied Yadadri Akshintalu to every household, Sanjay said no one had stopped him from doing so. He said that it was the BRS leaders who were responsible for the party’s ouster.
Chandrashekar Rao never brought ‘talambralu’ to Bhadradri Sri Ramalayam temple and he had deceived the people with false promises of sanctioning funds for the development of Vemulawada Rajanna, Kondagattu Anjanna and Dharmapuri temples.
If the BRS is a national party then it must announce in which states and in how many Assembly seats it is going to contest. In Telangana, BRS is the only party that is not getting candidates for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, he said.
The BJP will not sleep until it buries the party as it has destroyed the state and its people, Sanjay added.
