N Chandrababu Naidu condemns comments on speaker kodela Siva Prasad
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu condemned comments on Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad’s words and questioned what was wrong in his words. He said it was disgusting to comment on the Speaker. “Instead, he should be resepcted.” He said one should maintain dignity and balance while speaking. He spoke to mediapersons at the Velagapudi Secretariat on the success of NWP on Monday.
Mr Naidu said some people tried to stall the NWP and added the government was ready to accept suggestions. He said the government would act firm if any one tried to disturb the programmes. “There were attempts to stall the CII investment conference in Visakhapatnam but police successfully thwarted the bid.” He said the meet fetched investments to a tune of Rs 10.50 lakh crore.
Mr Naidu said Amaravati Declaration was getting support from the United Nations and added that the NWP focused on women’s issues and such programmes should be continued with more participation of eminent women. The CM also said 33 per cent reservation should be provided to women. He said there was a good response to the NWP in social media, and that it received 7,71,74,960 impressions. In IVRS survey, the NWP achieved 80 per cent public satisfaction. 96 pc expressed satisfaction on information, 92 per cent on discussions on women problems, 91 per cent expressed satisfaction on round table conferences, 88 per cent satisfied with transport and arrangements and 94 per cent people expressed satisfaction on Amaravati international music programme. The Chief Minister said Ammaku Vandanam programme would be implemented from this year to promote the greatness of a Mother.
