KOZHIKODE: An explosive substance was hurled and it blasted with a loud noise at the Thalassery road in Perod under Nadapuram police limits on Tuesday night.
Police said the crude bomb exploded near the bus stop when vehicles were passing by.
Scattered pieces of sack strings, nails etc. were found from the place.
It was the second bomb explosion on the road here after two people, who came on a motorbike hurled crude bomb on February 2.
Police said their target was a shop but inadvertently fell on the road. People are on their toes after the recurring incidents.
