CS reviews implementation of NREGS, PMKSY, Swacch Bharat schemes in Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari reviewed the implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), Prandhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), Swacch Bharat Mission (Grameen) and Palle Pragathi with officials of the panchayat raj and rural development departments.

A media statement issued by the CS office stated that principal secretary, PR&RD, Sandeep Kumar Sultania explained the various activities taken up during 2022-23. On the NREGS, he said the government had issued 52.78 lakh job cards to 1.11 crore individuals.

Santhi Kumari said Telangana was the only state wherein all gram panchayats had been declared ODF plus by the Centre. This very big transformation was possible due to programmes of the state government like Palle Pragathi,
she said.
