Bengaluru: Chief Minister Mr H D Kumaraswamy is looking at appointing Infosys Founder Chairman Mr N R Narayana Murthy as government adviser, including posting him in the powerful post of Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Mr Kumaraswamy said "We have dissolved all the groups created by previous governments that were advising governments on how to develop Bengaluru city. Mr Murthy will give us a blueprint on what his vision is for Bengaluru in a fortnight."
The State Planning Board is a Constitutional body and is one of the options to bring in experts from various fields and make it robust. Besides, it would boost the image of the state in attracting more investment in diversified sectors, sources said.
