Hyderabad: Road widening from Amberpet to Uppal okayed
The road at the Nagole Metro rail station will be widened to 150 feet.
Hyderabad: In order to ease traffic congestion, the GHMC has decided to widen the 30-foot road connecting Amberpet Ali Cafe and Nalla Cheruvu in Uppal via the Patelnagar sewerage treatment plant.
The road at the Nagole Metro rail station will be widened to 150 feet. This decision was taken as part of the junction improvement programme which was prepared two years ago.
A senior GHMC official said that with skyways coming up from the Che Number crossroads to Ramanthapur, the existing road will become a nightmare for commuters. While the corporation has acquired over 200 properties for the elevated corridor, the road widening will require at least more 150 public properties.
