All of a sudden, a driver, Mr Bathini Ravi, poured petrol on himself and attempted suicide.
WARANGAL: An RTC employee attempted to commit suicide in Narsampet on Sunday, the third such case in the last two days. The striking TSRTC employees were conducting vanta varpu at Narsampet in Warangal Rural district. All of a sudden, a driver, Mr Bathini Ravi, poured petrol on himself and attempted suicide.
Police and other employees who were present snatched away the petrol can from him and stopped him from putting a match to himself. Police threw water on him and shifted him to a hospital.
Mr Ravi is a native of Nallabelli and works out of the Narsampet depot.
