Italian citizen thanks Hyderabad traffic cop

Dr Armando Basile an Italian cyclist reached Koti Women's College, Hyderabad, and sought help from the cop to get to Kurnool.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad traffic cop Raju received a thank you letter from an Italian citizen for helping his father, a professional cyclist currently on a world tour.

Dr Armando Basile an Italian cyclist reached Koti Women’s College, Hyderabad, and sought help from the cop to get to Kurnool. The man also requested the cop to mail his son about his safe arrival and departure from Hyderabad. After the cop did as requested, the cyclist’s son thanked the cop through an email.

“Dr Armando Basile was on a world tour on his cycle from Germany. When he reached Koti Women’s College, I was regulating traffic at Koti. He stopped to ask details of Kurnool route. After I shared the road map, he asked me to email his son Dirk Basile, saying that he was safe. The same was informed to his son who in returned thanked me,” said the cop. The email sent to officer Raju stated, “Thank you very much to the police officers of Hyderabad for helping my father Armando Basile to find the right way out of the town on his 7th trip on bike around the world Dirk Basile.”
