Guntur: Guntur MP Galla Jayadev said that Telugu Desam government is concerned with the welfare of Christian community and hence constructing Christian Bhavan. He said this during inspection of ongoing land development works of Christian Bhavan at Guntur on Wednesday.
He said that land puja of Christian Bhavan would be held on December 26. Mr Jayadev said that TD government is developing Guntur in all aspects and mentioned that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had sanctioned Christian Bhavan for the welfare of Christian community.
He thanked Mr Naidu and minister for IT and panchayat raj N. Lokesh for their efforts in the development of Christians. Mr Jayadev said that ministers, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, Christian Bishops and community leaders, Telugu Desam leaders and Christians in large numbers will join the land pooja programme at 10.30 am at Adavitakkellapadu. Nominated MLA Philip C. Tocher and others participated in the programme.
