Vijayawada on development path under Jagan government, says YSRC MLA
Vijayawada: Planning Board Vice Chairman and Central MLA Malladi Vishnu has said the YSR Congress government is implementing various projects to strengthen the basic infrastructure for the state.
The MLA inaugurated the roads developed at a cost of Rs 21.59 lakh in the 32nd division, Basavatharaka Nagar, along with co-option member Gunde Subhashini and YSRC division in-charge Gunde Sundar Pal on Wednesday.
Vishnu said the “vote given to Telugu Desam in 2014 had pushed the development process of the constituency back by ten years. After YS Jagan Mohan Reddy became the chief minister, there was progress to and development of the central constituency.
Under the present government, development work worth Rs 7 crore has been undertaken in the division. The arch road was started with Rs 40 lakh and the sanitation office with Rs 15.35 lakh.
Vishnu said the Ayodhyanagar Urban Health Centre was started and it was providing quality healthcare to the people. “The construction of the SC Community Hall building, which was neglected by the previous government, is being completed by this government at a cost of Rs 17 lakh.”
