YSRC reaches out to 64 lakh, to gaguge mood on Jagan govt
Vijayawada: The Jagananne Maa Bhavishyathu (JMB) mass interaction campaign of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is ‘a mega hit’ with legislators and leaders along with cadre interacted with 64 lakh families in the state and collected their opinions about Jagan’s administration.
Ministers Jogi Ramesh, Adimulapu Suresh and R.K. Roja said that the people’s survey, JMB, was launched on April 7 and till Saturday, they had received 49 lakh missed calls and they had interacted with 64 lakh families.
Meanwhile, the big LED screen with a live counter, which gets updated on a real-time basis) put up at YSRC central office in Tadepalli has turned into a major attraction.
Minister Ramesh said that the response so far has been great and the final results of the survey will be released soon.
He added, “The survey results will be displayed at the end of the campaign in every constituency and cumulatively at the state level. The emerging trends suggest that people have immense trust in the good governance of the Chief Minister.”
The country’s first-of-its-kind survey is a bold decision like taking governance of the government to the doorstep of the people. He stated that bolstered by the unprecedented response of the people, the party cadre was taking the slogan 'Nuvve nuvve Jagan' to the people, he said.
Adimulapu Suresh said, “Maa nammakam nuvve Jagan, a slogan that was coined by the people themselves, is echoing in every village and town of the state.”
Suresh said that people are fully satisfied with the YSRC rule as the Chief Minister has fulfilled more than 98 per cent of the electoral promises. He said that the per capita income of Andhra Pradesh for the year 2022-23 was ₹ 2,19,518 which was an increase of ₹ 23,476 from the 2021-22 figures. He said that the per capita income of Andhra Pradesh was way above the national average. The state has stood first in the growth of GSDP. The state has achieved a growth rate of 11.43 per cent.
Rajya Sabha member Mopidevi Venkataramana reiterated that the people are now assured of better governance due to non-discrimination in the distribution of welfare schemes by the YSRC government.
