Congress, JD(S) netas have realised their mistakes: G T Devegowda
Mysuru: Higher Education Minister and JD(S) leader G.T. Devegowda said that the war of words among leaders of the coalition partners JD(S) and Congress would stop now after the efforts made by senior leaders to pacify them.
Speaking to the media in Mandya on Tuesday, he said, “All of them have realised their mistakes now (ellarigu gnaanodaya aagide). Senior leaders have advised them not to indulge in a war of words and work unitedly, God has given us an opportunity to share the food on one plate. If there are any minor mistakes, we should correct them and manage the coalition government like we manage a family and bring peace to people of the state," he said.
Mr Devegowda added, "Mr H.D. Kumaraswamy will continue as chief minister for the next four years and strive for the overall development of the state. Dr G Parameshwar will be the Deputy Chief Minister and the cabinet will continue. There will be development of the state and good rains and crops too," he said.
He added, "Mr A.H. Vishwanath (JD-S state president) has told leaders that he has not made any statement against Siddaramaiah to personally target him. The issue has been resolved.”
