Works of housing for poor scheme gets momentum in AP
VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) officials are gearing up to finish the layout works of housing for the poor scheme at Nidamarru, Nekkallu, Krishnayapalem, Navuluru, Ainavolu, Mandadam, Kuragallu, Yerrabalem, Pitchukalapalem, Borupalem, and Ananthavaram. The house sites will be distributed to the poor people in NTR and Guntur district.
APCRDA commissioner Vivek Yadav said that the officials are readying the layouts on a war-foot basis. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will distribute the house sites to the beneficiaries under the Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu housing scheme, said Vivek Yadav after inspecting the works on Sunday.
The APCRDA officials said that as many as 25 layouts are under development on the 1,402.58 acres of extent. The state government has decided to distribute house sites to around 50,004 beneficiaries in these layouts. Out of the 25 layouts, 14 with an extent of 583.93 acres were allotted to the NTR district, and 11 layouts with an extent of 550.65 acres to the Guntur district.
