The quality of education worries me!

I was entering college when India achieved her Independence in August 1947. We have come a long way since then. At that time there was only one science and one humanities institution and we were under the Mysuru state. Look at the number of educational institutions that we have today. It is astonishing. But the one thing that worries me is the quality of education. It needs to improve if we are to compete with and beat other nations. Yes, we have made progress in many areas, including science and technology, but we could do better. The overall quality of educational institutions needs to improve a great deal.
