HYDERABAD: BJP leader Karuna Gopal, who is president, Foundation for Futuristic Cities, has been invited to speak at the Brics Innovation Forum in Moscow, Russia, from August 27 to 29. The invitation was extended by the Director General of Moscow Innovation Cluster.
She is also an independent director with Engineers India Ltd and the BJP’s national in-charge for policies and research.
The Brics forum discuss the future of cities and technology will host mayors, policy and decision makers from more than 50 Brics and MENA (Middle East & North Africa) cities, apart from science, technology and innovation experts, promoters of hi-tech companies and start-ups, R&D professionals, researchers and government officials.
Speaking about the invitation, Karuna Gopal said, “I will have the opportunity to share our country’s progress in ushering technology and industrial innovation, collaborative international partnerships and sustainable development goals especially, since I have been part of India Technology Vision 2047.”
“Moreover, Moscow occupies a leading position in advanced urban digital technologies and infrastructure and it is an honour that I have been selected to sign a Multilateral Moscow Declaration on Innovative Development,” she said.
