Telangana High Court Denies Bail to Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case Accused
HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court on Friday refused bail to Sunil Yadav, accused in the Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case, stating that the conspiracy behind the murder had to be unravelled. Yadav is Accused No. 2 and he has been in jail since his arrest. He had secured interim bail to attend his father’s funeral.
Deadline Set for Appointment of SC/ST Commission Members
The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the state government to inform it by September 27 as to when the Chairman and members of the Telangana Commission for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes would be appointed. The court made it clear that the appointments must be completed within four weeks. The bench was dealing with the PIL on the posts not being filled up and the government continuously seeking time to complete the process. For five months, the government had asked for more time, the petitioner said. On Friday, government counsel sought 10 more weeks.
