Hyderabad: Wakf Board members asked officials to prepare an institution-wise revenue inflow, expenditure and budget statement. Sub-committees on development, finance and administration on Thursday reviewed the financial position of the board and proposals for development of certain properties.
Wakf Board chairman Mohammed Saleem chaired the meetings. The sub-committees asked Wakf Board CEO Abdul Hameed to prepare detailed project reports on developing Wakf properties in Hyderabad in the first phase. The committees also discussed the development of land at Pahadi Shareef. The state government has returned 85 acres to the Wakf Board in Pahadishareef but it was found that land sharks were attempting to grab the land. The sub-committees decided to firm up norms on appointment of new staff. A decision on promotion of staff was also deferred.
