Hyderabad: The police on Friday upgraded Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy ’s security to Z-plus category.
Earlier, Revanth Reddy had directed the police to not provide a green channel for his convoy so that motorists are not affected when he is travelling on the roads.
He directed the officials to make alternative arrangements for regular traffic instead of stopping the vehicles.
Revanth Reddy said he had cut down the number of vehicles in the convoy. Since he needed to travel a lot to meet the people and learn of their problems, he asked the police to come up with solutions to avoid inconvenience to motorists when he is travelling. He cannot sit at home and ignore people’s problems, the CM said.
