Telangana speaker tests Covid positive, admitted to hospital
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was infected with mild symptoms of fever, cough and cold
Hyderabad: The Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was tested positive for Covid-19 for the second time on Sunday. He was admitted to a hospital in the city for getting proper treatment.
According to sources, the Speaker was found with mild symptoms of fever, cough and cold. Doctors conducted Covid-19 tests to the Speaker and it was positive. Based on doctor’s advice, the Speaker was shifted to a hospital in Gachibowli. His health is said to be stable.
It may be recalled that on November 24, 2021, the Speaker was tested positive days after his grand-daughter's wedding function in which a number of political leaders from both Telugu states took part.
