Traffic advisory for Telangana Jateeya Samaikyatha Dinotsavam in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: In view of the Telangana Jateeya Samaikyatha Dinotsavam , to be held at central lawns, public gardens, Nampally on Sunday (September-17) at, traffic diversions in the city will be enforced from 0700 hrs to 1300 hrs.
Traffic will be diverted at Taj Island, general traffic heading from MJ Market and proceeding towards Public garden will not be allowed and will be diverted at Taj Island towards Ek Minar – Bazar ghat –Asif Nagar- Red hills- Ayodya Hotel, Lakdikapul etc.
While at Chapel road ‘T’ junction- general traffic coming from Nampally railway station towards Public garden will not be allowed and will be diverted at Chapel road ‘T’ Junction towards Gunfoundry – Abids or BJR Statue – Basheerbagh fly over etc…
At Old PS Saifabad- general traffic heading from Nirankari Bhavan towards Ravindra Bharathi will not be allowed and it will be diverted at Old PS Saifabad towards Telephone Bhavan –Iqbal Minar – Secretariat road– Telugu talli – Ambedkar Statue– Liberty – Basheerbagh – Abids etc.
Where as at Basheerbagh Junction: traffic coming from Hyderguda, King Koti and heading towards HTP Junction, Public Gardens will not be allowed and it will be diverted at Basheerbagh Junction towards Liberty – Telugu talli – NTR Marg – Iqbal Minar – Old PS Saifabad – Lakdikapul Bridge & BJR Statue -Abids etc.
While at the Iqbal Minar- traffic coming from Tankbund towards Ravindra Bharathi will not be allowed and will be diverted at IqbalMinar towards Old PS Saifabad – Lakdikapool Bridges etc.
Like wise at AR Petrol Pump- traffic coming from Sujatha School towards Public Garden will not be allowed and it will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards BJR Statue.
Adarsh Nagar (New MLA Quarters). The general traffic going to Adarshnagar and Hyderabad Traffic Police Complex Junction will not be allowed and it will be diverted at Adarsh Nagar (New MLA Quarters) towards Liberty road and Telugu Talli Flyover.
However, the car pass holders attending the Telangana Jateeya Samaikyatha Dinotsavam will be allowed at all the diversion points. Invitees coming to attend the function are requested to refer to Annexure Map for Route, Entry, Alighting and Parking Places.
The general public is requested to take the above alternate routes and co-operate with the traffic police, G Sudheer, additional commissioner of city traffic police stated in a press release on Saturday.
