Andhra Pradesh: VHP to offer Non-Pesticidal Management help to farmers
Guntur: VHP international working president Pravin Togadia urged the farmers to shun use of pesticides and to adopt non-pesticidal management of crops to get good income. He was in Guntur on Wednesday. He spoke to farmers and other communities about making farming a prosperous business and on protection of Hindu dharma. He stated that cow-based non-pesticides, which are both good for health and costing less, are giving good results and said that he is campaigning about the same to help boos their income. He said that the VHP is offering assistance to the farmers in switching to cow-based, non-pesticidal management of crops in their agricultural fields. He explained that under the cow based NPM the crops used to grow in less water areas and explained about the NPM farming practice.
Mr Togadia asserted on the need of protection of cows and ancient Hindu dharma which gave universal recognition to Indians. He interacted with doctors, educationists, lawyers and businessmen of the city and sought their cooperation towards Hindu dharma and cow protection activities of VHP and allied organizations. VHP regional honorary president K Haranatha Reddy, Seer of Saiva Kshetram Siva Swamy, Bajrangdal regional president Ch Gopikrishna and other leaders participated in the programme.
