Guntur: The land acquisition notification was issued to acquire 600 acres of land in Penumaka of Tadepalli Mandal of Amaravati Capital Region on Friday. The angry landowners and farmers who were reluctant to give their multi-crop fertile lands staged a protest in front of the CRDA office at Penumaka on Friday with black flags demanding the cancellation of LA notification. The landowners and farmers alleged that the government had announced about the collecting of lands from only willing farmers in the AP Assembly but now the government had gone back on its word.
