Two from Hyderabad killed in New Zealand terror attack
Hyderabad, Christchurch: Two persons from Hyderabad were killed in the horrific massacre at Al Noor mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand, on Friday. New Zealand authorities have released a list of 35 victims, in which the names of Mohammed Imran Khan and Farhaj Ahsan were included.
Both were staying in Christchurch with their families. Ahsan had been listed missing after the shooting on Friday.
There was a third confirmed victim from India. A report from Thrissur said an MTech student from Kodungallur, Kerala, studying at an agriculture university in New Zealand was killed in the terror shooting at the mosque at Deans Avenue.
The victim, Ancy Ali Bava, 23, used to stay near the mosque with her husband Ponnath Abdul Nazer, who works at a supermarket in Christchurch. Her death was confirmed by Mr Nazer’s relatives at Thiruvallur near Madavana in Kodungallur on Saturday evening.
