Ludhiana: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Ravinder Gosai (58) was shot dead by unidentified men on a motorcycle in Ludhiana's Kailash Nagar, earlier on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place in Gagandeep Colony of Ludhiana, near Gosai's house at around 7:45 am. He was returning from the RSS branch.
The police are investigating the matter and further details are awaited.
The RSS has expressed deep regret on the incident and has urged the Punjab police to take immediate action against those involved in the gruesome murder.
