AP boosting healthcare access for the poor: Buggana
Kurnool: Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath has underscored the importance of the Dr. YSR Urban Primary Health Centres in enhancing healthcare access for the underprivileged in Dhone town.
These health centers, established in Pathapeta and Rokalibanda Satram areas at a cost of Rs 1.60 crore, were formally inaugurated by the minister on Monday.
The minister interacted with ANM and ASHA workers. Later, he inspected construction of the club house next to the Buggana Sesha Reddy indoor stadium and took stock of the road erection to the municipal office building. He also reviewed the works on the vegetable market, being constructed at a cost of Rs 7.60 crore.
Prior to this, the minister visited the city park on his way from Bethamcherla to Dhone for the inauguration of urban health centers. He inspected the accommodation arrangements for visitors. He reviewed the construction of a granite gateway on the Maddileti Narasimhaswamy temple road in RS Rangapuram, Bethamcherla, at a cost of Rs 2.75 crore.
He issued various directions about the construction of the Maha Prakara Mandapam at a cost of Rs 12.70 crore,as well as the reconstruction of the temple at a cost of Rs 40 crore, including the Pada Mandapam and Gopuram.
Dhone municipal chairman Saptasaila Rajesh, Maddileti Narasimhaswamy temple chairman Ramachandradu, state meat corporation chairman Sriramulu, Dhone MPP Regati Rajasekhar, RDO Venkata Reddy, tahsildars Narendranath Reddy, Vidyasagar and others were present.
