Anantapur: Indian President Droupadi Murmu will visit Puttaparthi on November 22 as chief guest of the 42nd annual convocation of Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning the same afternoon.
The convocation is being held a day before the 98th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Satya Saibaba for the past 41 years.
Satya Sai Central Trust members had last month invited the President for the convocation. Governor S. Abdul Nazeer will also be taking part in the event.
Satya Sai district police are making necessary security arrangements for Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Puttaparthi, including at the airport and the road leading to Prasanthi Nilayam, the venue of the convocation ceremony.
