One vehicle is being used by the family of the secretary, minorities welfare department, while another vehicle is being used by Chief Minister’s special secretary Bhopal Reddy.
The MFC pays for repairs of the two vehicles, and the fuel bill and salary of one car and driver.
Queried about the use of the two vehicles, officials of the MFC confirmed that the corporation has not used the cars in years and the decision to hand them over to their current users was taken by higher officials.
The minorities finance corporation had purchased a Maruti SX 4 ZXI BSIV model in 2012 for the use of its Vice-Chairman & managing director in the then united Andhra Pradesh.
To appease the bureaucrats, the then managing director of the corporation handed over the car for the use of the family of the secretary of the minorities welfare department in 2015.

According to the officials of the corporation, Mr Ekka promised to return the vehicle to the corporation, but has still not done so.
Likewise, the corporation bought an Innova 2.5V in October 2015, which was presented to the secretary to Chief Minister Bhopal Reddy.
The corporation pays for the maintenance of both vehicles, the salary of the driver of the vehicle used by Mr Ekka and his fuel bills amounting to `15,000 per month. Mr Bhoopal Reddy pays his own fuel bills and driver’s salary.
