Hyderabad: The vigilance wing of the Metro Water Board registered an FIR against TRS MLA Babu Mohan’s son Pavan Kumar, noted Telugu movie actor Madala Ravi and eight more individuals for holding illegal water connections at their residences.
Hyderabad Water Board chief M. Danna Kishore ordered the vigilance officials of HMWSSB to initiate legal action against illegal water connections. As part of this, the water resources vigilance police conducted inspections. The team found 10 individuals holding illegal water connections. These 10 violators have a defaulted bill of Rs 17 lakh.
Inspection was held on Thursday at Pavan Kumar’s and actor Madala Ravi’s residences. Others who had taken the illicit connections were Vicon Hospital, Mallikarjuna Rao, Bachan Singh, P. Chitra Chowdhary, Brahmaputra, Greenlands, Whisper Valley Club, and Karvi Companies.
