Hyderabad: TRS MP Balka Suman on Wednesday likened the Prajakutami led by the Congress to a patched rug He claimed that Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) president Prof. M. Kodandaram was acting on the directions of the Congress,
Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Suman, who is contesting the Assembly elections from Chennur, alleged that Prof. Kodandaram had come to an agreement with the Congress during the 2014 elections. “I had been told of this long back and it has come true now,” Mr Suman said.
He denied the speculations that former minister G. Vinod would rejoin the Congress, and said the party was united.
He said that if the new Assembly is to run smoothly, Congress candidates should be defeated in the forthcoming elections. He said the Congress would not secure their deposits in the elections.
Mr Suman said the people were expressing their happiness over the TRS election manifesto. He said Congress leaders were confined to their party office where s TRS nominees where with the people campaigning.
