AP CM extends financial help to the ailing
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday extended financial assistance to several patients suffering from various chronic illnesses, including leukaemia, mental disability, paraplegia and kidney disease.
Those ailing had met the CM while he was returning to the helipad after the public meeting in Nuzvid.
Jagan Mohan Reddy inquired in detail from the district medical and health officer about the patients. He then instructed district collector Prasanna Venkatesh to release the requisite finances.
The beneficiaries are Tadepalli Anitapal, Seelam Nagamuralikrishna, Pallagani Srinivasa Rao, G. Ranga Rao, Sadam Gopinath, Manda Hema, Mandapati Ramesh, Badda Ratnakumari, and Pedagamalla Kriparani. Funds to them have been released from the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
The collector, joint collector B. Lavanya Veni and sub-collector Adarsh Rajendran handed over the cheques to the beneficiaries.
