Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to embark on an aerial survey of flood-ravaged Kodagu and sanction funds for relief measures forthwith.
Speaking to the media after a tour of villages hit by the deluge in Nanjangud taluk in Mysuru district, the former chief minister said he would visit Kodagu district soon.
He said that the candidates for forthcoming polls to urban local bodies (ULBs) would be announced soon and expressed confidence that his power would be voted to power in Mysuru city corporation.
