Hyderabad: Roads in localities surrounding Osmania University have become worse. The road from Nallakunta police station to Tarnaka including the RoB at Jamai Osmania is full of potholes. Two huge ones, near the distance education centre, have not been repaired for six months.
Mr Mohammad Azam from Manikes-warinagar said the road was dug up by the electricity department six months back at two places. “The locals were patient as they thought that the department would repair the road. But it has been about six months and neither the GHMC nor anyone has repaired the road,” he said.
The Shivam Road has potholes along with work left incomplete by the electricity department. The Tarnaka flyover. too. is scattered with potholes on both ends.
Mr K. Venkata Ramana, a teacher from Adikmet, said that motorists were suffering due to dust on the roads apart from potholes.
