TTD cancels VIP break darshans on Oct. 24, 25
TIRUPATI: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has cancelled VIP break darshans on October 24, 25 and November 8 in view of Deepavali Asthanam, solar and lunar eclipses respectively.
In a statement on Wednesday, the temple body announced that since Deepavali Asthanam will be held in Tirumala temple on October 24 followed by other rituals, the devasthanam has cancelled VIP break darshan tickets on October 23. In addition, no recommendation letters for the same will be entertained on the day.
Similarly, since the temple will remain closed for almost 12 hours from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on October 25 following the solar eclipse, no recommendation letters for break darshan will be entertained on October 24. Further, in connection with the lunar eclipse occurring on November 8, temple doors remain closed from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. So, no recommendation letters for break darshan will be accepted on November 7.
The TTD has cancelled issue of SRIVANI Trust and ₹300 special entry darshan tickets on October 25 and November 8 following the solar and lunar eclipses. The devasthanam will also not entertain recommendation letters for all kinds of darshan on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The temple body requested devotees to take note of these aspects and cooperate with the TTD.
