IRCTC offers darshan of 7 Jyothirlingas to AP, TS devout
Visakhapatnam: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a Government of India enterprise, is set to take devout on a spiritual odyssey mainly by train, wherein the devotees can have the darshan of seven most-revered jyothirlingas, apart from visiting the Statue of Unity in Gujarat.
For the purpose, it has crafted the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train – SCZBG16. It is a specially designed tour covering significant religious and cultural destinations across the country. The tour is scheduled from November 18, 2023 to November 30, 2023.
The itinerary of this spiritual journey includes visits to Ujjain (Mahakaleswar and Omkareswar), Statue of Unity (Gujarat), Dwarka (Nageswar), Somnath (Somnath), Pune (Bhimashankar), Nasik (Triambakeswar) and Aurangabad (Grishneswar).
Passengers will be able to embark on the spiritual quest by boarding the train from Vijayawada via Secunderabad.
The tour offers three different packages, including GST.
Sleeper Class at Rs 21,000/- per head, 3AC at Rs 32,500/- per head and 2AC at Rs 42,500 per head.
The package includes train journey, night stays, wash and change facilities, and transportation services. All meals provided during the tour will be vegetarian, including morning tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Accommodations vary depending on the package chosen, with options for economy, standard and comfort classes.
