Flyover planned near KR Puram railway Station: KJ George
Mr George said that the BDA has been preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the elevated corridor.
Bengaluru: To solve the burgeoning traffic problem near the KR Puram railway station, an elevated corridor with an estimated budget of Rs 630 crore has been planned, said Bengaluru Development Minister K.J. George.
Visiting spots dogged with traffic problems in East Bengaluru on Friday, Mr George said that the BDA has been preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the elevated corridor and it will have three loops connecting traffic from Whitefield road, Outer Ring Road and road linking Central Business District (CBD). This helps ease traffic, he said.
Mr George directed officials to widen the road that links the bus depot at NGEF apart and also ordered widening of Kasturinagar Road where sand-laden trucks are parked.
