US companies to invest in Hyderabad, generate jobs
Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao’s tour to the US has attracted a mega investment to Telangana state, including the creation of 9,000 jobs.
The Houston-headquartered top global consulting and financial firm AlliantGroup announced its expansion plans reaffirming the company’s faith in the business-friendly environment of Telangana state. The proposed expansion plan is a huge boost to the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, including for the country.
A powerhouse in consulting and financial services, renowned for their expertise in tax, accounting, and audit services, AlliantGroup will be expanding their operations in Hyderabad, which will also create 9,000 new jobs. Incidentally, it has been providing services in Hyderabad where it set up an office in 2020 with 1,000 employees, which will now swell to 10, 000.
Similarly, the city will soon host a software global delivery center and precision engineering manufacturing facility of TechnipFMC, a global leader in the traditional and renewable energy industry. The proposed investment will generate 3,500 jobs.
Following a meeting with Rao in Houston, TechnipFMC, the renowned French-American energy company, decided Hyderabad as the chosen destination for their cutting-edge software global delivery and capability centre which will employ 3,500 persons.
In addition, TechnipFMC has chosen Hyderabad as the site for their manufacturing facility with international standards, specializing in the realm of precision engineering and creating 1,000 jobs in the next five years.
TechnipFMC will be investing over $150 million with an export value of $650 million towards the Hyderabad facilities in the initial phase. This decision unequivocally demonstrates TechnipFMC's unwavering commitment to Hyderabad.
