Kurnool: Former MLC and Telugu Desam leader B. Tech Ravi has warned that they will file a cheque bounce case against Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on behalf of those who have not received support under the Amma Vodi scheme.
Addressing a training session for TD leaders and workers at Vempalle in YSR district on Thursday, he pointed out that state government had allotted ₹1,179 crore for Amma Vodi. But at least 50 per cent of the amount has not been deposited in the beneficiaries’ accounts.
B. Tech Ravi said that a list of those who have not received Amma Vodi funds will be compiled in the next two days. A cheque bounce case will be filed against the CM at the police station on behalf of the non-recipients.
Telugu Desam is conducting a training session at Vempalli in Pulivendula constituency for its activists from Chakrayapeta, Vemula and Vempalli mandals. Party leader Harshavardhan is conducting the training on TDP app features, RTS and voter house mapping, among others.

Tech Ravi underlined at the meeting that despite the Chief Minister releasing funds into Amma Vodi beneficiaries’ accounts by pressing the button, half of the beneficiaries have not received the amount in their accounts. A case would thus be booked against the CM on behalf of those who have been missed out.
