Heavy rains: Holiday announced for educational institutions in Telangana
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has announced holiday for all educational institutions in the state, in view of the heavy rainfall. The holiday will be for two days on Thursday and Friday.
However, with the instructions about the holiday being late, the buses carrying the students had already reached the schools.
Hence, the authorities have decided to serve an early lunch and buses would leave the campus at 11.30 am. Please fetch your wards from bus stops accordingly.
Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy announced this through her Twitter handle.
Keeping in view of the heavy rainfall in the state and under the instructions of the Honourable CM, KCR garu, the Govt has decided to declare holidays for two days to all education institutions in the state. That is Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy rains are predicted for North, West Telangana districts and heavy rains in East, Central Telangana districts. South TS will have light to moderate only, according to Telangana weatherman's forecast.

Meanwhile, the NVRSKP School informed the parents that as the students were already on their way to the school by the time the authorities received information about the holidays, that those interested in picking up their children from the school can do so any time before 3.30 pm.
The school management said that the institution will be open till 3.30 pm today and that the school transport will play at the usual time. It informed that tomorrow will be a holiday for the students.
