Quoting Gita, Justice Aradhe Drives Home Importance of Unbiased Judgements
Hyderabad: Emphasising the pivotal role of experts in arbitration and how they should be unbiased while settling disputes, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court Justice Alok Aradhe pointed out that the Bhagavad Gita scriptures stress the underlying importance of putting in dedicated efforts that will be unattached to the outcomes.
Quoting a verse from the Gita, “Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Phaleshu Kadachana,” Justice Aradhe remarked, “This principle resonates when experts swear by unwavering truth and impartiality and setting the stage for fair and just resolutions.”
The Chief Justice was delivering the keynote address
on ‘Emerging best practices in the use of experts to increase their value proposition in arbitration’, during a programme organised by the International Arbitration and Mediation Center (IAMC) in collaboration with FTI Consulting, here on Sunday.
