Indian Navy's Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan leads Coastal Cleanup efforts

Visakhapatnam: In a bid to promote cleaner and safer seas, the Indian Navy's Puneet Sagar Abhiyaan initiative saw a significant participation in coastal clean up activities across various sites in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Over 750 naval personnel and Defence Civilians hailing from different units of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) participated.

Spanning a diverse range of beaches including Yarada, Ram Krishna, Jalaripeta,Thotlakonda, Vuda Park, and East Point Light beaches, the cleanup encompassed an extensive stretch of coastline. The campaign's core objective lies in nurturing awareness within local communities about the pivotal connection between pristine oceans and secure maritime environments.
