KTR visits flyover ramp collapse victims in Kims Hospital
HYDERABAD: The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister K. T. Rama Rao, on Wednesday, visited Kims hospital to meet and inquire about the well-being of those injured in the Sagar ring road flyover collapse.
The Minister took stock of the incident and extended his sympathies to the families of the victims and assured them of full government support to provide all necessary arrangements for their treatment to ensure their recovery.
Terming the incident as unfortunate KTR said that the municipal administration department is committed to probe into the incident. He said that a comprehensive inquiry will be conducted on the collapse and that a three-member internal committee headed by engineer in chief of GHMC and JNTU to ascertain the cause of the mishap.
He also reiterated that strict action would be taken against the working agency if any negligence on their part was found.
According to a statement released by Kims hospitals, two if the injured will be discharged by the end of the day while the rest are undergoing treatment and are under close observation.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, LB Nagar MLA Sudhir Reddy, Special Chief Secretary, MAUD department Arvind Kumar, and other officials accompanied the minister.
