Hyderabad: The last date for ‘Swachh Campus’ rankings has been extended to August 28 from the earlier date of August 23 by the ministry of human resources and development. All the institutes of Higher Education have been encouraged to participate for the rankings.
The participating campuses would be judged based on toilets adequacy and maintenance, garbage clearance systems, hotel kitchen hygiene and sophisticated equipment, use of solar systems, campus greenery and rain water harvesting systems and village or neighbourhood adoption for hygiene.
