Kumbakonam: As the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa’s birth star is Maham, special pujas will be conducted at 122 temples in the state by HR and CE department on Mahamaham day (Monday).
Shanmugha archana will be performed at Palani Dandayuthapani temple, Navasakthi archana with nine flowers will be performed to Meenakshi Amman and panchamukha archana with five flowers to Sundareswarar at Sundareswarar Mennakshi Amman temple at
Madurai, Navakalasa puja at Maankadu Kamakshi Amman temple, Rudra Parayanam and special abishekam will be performed at Arunachaleswarar temple at Tiruvannamalai, Sudarsana Homam at Solingar Lakshmi Narasimhar temple and special pujas in other temples-toal 122- will be performed on Monday.
Various homams will also be performed at the temples. People can take part in the pujas and get the blessings of Gods and Goddesses.
