Kurnool: A woman allegedly bit her husband’s tongue when he attempted to forcefully kiss her late on Friday in Tuggali mandal in the district. Though the matter went viral on social media, the police have not received any complaint regarding the issue.
The couple, Tarachand Naik and Pushpavathi, got married in 2015 and have two children. They had a good relationship in the initial years of marriage, but for the past two years, quarrels started between them.
On Friday, the couple had a heated argument, during which Tarachand attacked Pushpavathi. Later, Tarachand attempted to kiss her, unaware of her anger. In response, Pushpavathi bit her husband’s tongue, leaving him in severe pain.
Tarachand immediately sought treatment at Gooty Hospital, from where he was referred to Anantapur Hospital for further treatment.
Further, Pushpavathi complained that Tarachand attacked her and then tried to kiss her forcefully against her will, leading her to react in self-defence.
Jonnagiri sub-inspector said on Saturday that the entire episode is viral on social media only and they haven’t received any complaint on the incident.
