Visakhapatnam: The vice president of India, Union minister of health and other dignitaries and alumni who have studied at Andhra Government Medical College will be the chief guests for the centenary celebrations of Andhra Medical College to be held in KGH on October 27, 28 and 29.
District collector Dr. A. Mallikharjuna, GVMC Commissioner CM Srikanth Verma along with RDO Hussain Saheb visited KGH and inspected the arrangements at Andhra Medical College on Sunday.
The district collector issued instructions to the organisers and advised them to complete the work within the stipulated time. Officials of all departments were told that they should work in coordination and make the programme a success. Andhra Medical College Principal Dr G. Buchiraju and KGH superintendent Dr Ashok Kumar reviewed the arrangements with other medical officers.
