Hyderabad: Art students spruce up city
HYDERABAD: Delegates coming to Hyderabad at the month-end for the GES Summit will be greeted by a beautifully prepped up city.
Indian art, culture and heritage with special focus on Hyderabad are being painted on the walls of the city covering Begumpet, Nagarjuna Circl, Jubilee Hills, Madhapur, LB Stadium, Administ-ration Staff College of India and the RBI.
The funds for the beautification are being generated throu-gh corporate CSR whi-le the art is being handled by artists and students from JNTU Fine Arts College.
Artist Md. Faqru-ddin, working on a graveyard wall in Panjagutta said, “I am painting a landscape of exotic birds on the 2,000 sq feet wall.”
Walls are being on Indian Monuments and festivals, Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, the role of Indian forces, etc.,
Added Mr Raja Rao, an art student, “An animal-based theme has been picked for flyovers and I am working on one of them.”
