Visakhapatnam: Legislative Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy established village secretariats and a volunteer system to release Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of self-governing and self-sufficient village republics.
Addressing a programme held at Kesavadasu Puram village in Koghuru mandal, Tammineni reiterated that the YRSC government was making momentous strides by taking up several initiatives towards the achievement of ‘Gram Swaraj’ for transformative change.
He commended the dedication and efforts of public representatives in implementing the welfare schemes benefiting every household in the state.
